(this article below, was
written buy someone else and sent to me by Prof. Khurram. I decided it was good to post.
We are now in communication with Rev. Prof. Khurram.)
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's to what we're
projecting in the years ahead if Christ tarries and with your prayers
and support our goal will be reached. It has been a privilege to be a
part of the work of Jesus Christ in Pakistan and as we all know the
work cannot be done by one person but by a team of committed
individuals whose main agenda is to do the will of God and please our
Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ declared that "I will build my church and
the gates of hell will not prevail against it" Matt 16:18. Well we're
on our way as His laborers to fulfill and continue the work He left
behind knowing that after it's all said and done, there will be a
reward, and rest is assured, thou good and faithful servants
(Matt
25:21, Luke 19:17).

Persecution against Christians in that region of Pakistan has been
on the rise for about 10-15 years. The women are widows whose husbands
were killed by Muslim extremists. That region is not secure when it
comes to Christianity, it being predominantly a radically Muslim
region. Men converts that work in the mills and factories are
humiliated, tortured and killed and their surviving families end up
widowed and orphaned because of their new found faith in Jesus Christ.
Many women who have been divorced by their husbands because of
converting to Christianity, flea to safety because their lives are in
constant danger and threat from their Muslim husbands who threaten to
kill them.
Above is Professor Khurram of Flow of the Spirit Ministries...ministering to congregation in Pakistan.

The harvest is great but the laborers are few (Matt 9:37; Luke 10:2).
As you can see the work has began and there's no stopping there.
The standard that's been set has to be achieved because with God and
with your help nothing is impossible. Schools need to be built,
orphanages are essential in this community, the widows are struggling
to meet the basic needs for their families and many of them in
shelters, the list goes on and no. There can be no ministry without
the people and if the people are looking up to the ministry for support
how then can the ministry survive but by external support and help from
caring and compassionate individuals who decide to do something about
it. It is not enough for them to hear a sermon about the Kingdom of
Heaven if the congregation goes away hungry and for most of them, no
home to go to...where is Jehovah Jireh? God has already provided for
them. It's in the hands and pockets of you and I. It's our
responsibility to reach out and touch their lives either directly or
indirectly, whether it's by empowering the people through providing the
knowledge they need to empower themselves or providing the resources
that are essential.
Miracles still happen today and if you're going to be that one
miracle in someone's destitute life and someone else take on another
person's desperation, we'll have fed the 5000 men (excluding the women
and children) with just 5 loaves and two fishes
(Matt 14:13-21; John
6:1-14).
We as His representatives operate as Him (Jesus Christ)
collectively, though fragile, frailed and fragmented, scathed and
scarred, broken and bruised ("wounded for our transgressions, bruised
for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him"), His
body retained a whole lot of power from the Holy Spirit in spite of the
damages done to Him, we too as His body contain the imperfect qualities
and characteristics, weaknesses and infirmities but have the ability to
operate and function just as He did (collectively). "I have showed you
all things, how that so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to
remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed
to give than to receive" Acts 20:38, "give and it shall be given back
to you good measure pressed down shaken together and running over will
be poured onto your lap, for with the measure you use it will be
measured back to you" Luke 6:38, "there is (he/she) that scatters, and
yet increases; and there is (he/she) that withholds more than is meet,
but it tends to poverty. (In other words) Give freely and become more
wealthy; be stingy and lose everything" Prov 11:24. There are many more
promises that God has for them that reach out and touch the lives of
the ones in dire need.
Remembering the poor:
"If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within
any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou
shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor
brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely
lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. Beware that
there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year,
the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor
brother, and thou givest him naught; and he cry unto the LORD against
thee, and it be sin unto thee. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine
heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for
this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy
poor, and to thy needy, in thy land" Deut 15:7-11
For those who worry about going without in order to satisfy someone
else's hunger and thirst, I say to you that it's not in vain that you
deny yourself a meal or two. Isaiah 58:6-8 carries a promise from God
the Father if these few guidelines and acts of compassion are carried
out..."Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of
wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go
free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the
hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house?
when thou sees the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not
thyself from thine own flesh?
Then shall thy light break forth as
the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy
righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy
reward."
Psalms 41:1 "blessed is he that considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble."
